The corner pieces arrived today - the nice lady in question sent me a spare too! So as soon as I pay the outstanding amount I can sort the lid.
The hoop is also missing to lock the tank, but as the corner parts need replacing it should be easy enough to slide the black edging off and attach a loop to the mesh. (Making a small hole in the black edging for the loop to go through.)
Hopefully will have it sorted in the next couple of weeks.....hurray!

That's great The lock is always the first thing to go!! My perfecto's lid was in bits and I managed to stick it all together and fasten it with a bit of - you guessed - sticky back velcro! My gerbils have never been able to get it off!

Never easy is it! Got the tank home only to discover the previous owner had not only lost the corner brackets but snapped the slotting in parts in the frame.....and it seems impossible to remove them.
If anyone else has a perfecto tank I'd be grateful if you'd take a look and see if you can figure out a way to solve the problem! (Without breaking your own lid, of course!)

Can you show me a picture? Not sure which bit you mean - is it the lid that slides in that's broken or the bit attached to the tank where the lid slides in?????
I managed to fix mine with bits from B&Q - it's been working well for over two years and never an escape *Touches Wood*
