It is said Sir Prize is a very poor quality Dominant Spot, but I ask you what are the odds of having 12(possibly 13 nonpatterned pups in this litter and 11 in his other litter bred to a Red Eyed Cream? There seems to be at least one pup with the faint start of a wide blazed face, and one might be a Mink as it seems to show eye rings, however most at this time seem to be Dove or Cinnamon(2 or 3) possibly have patterns like Sir Prize has.
At only 7 days old the pups still seem more pink then anything and in a few Photos I think I got all 14 but unsure.

It is a roll of the die. And I do think sometimes a specific gene is simply more elusive. The first time I had rust, I lost it because of it. This time I am having much better luck. I also lost Light Grey that way, it just wasn't being put out there in the litters. Being dominant, you'd think you would have better luck, but it doesn't always work that way.

They are very cute!

What I find even more interesting is in all Sir Prizes sired litters this far the ONLY pups who looked as proper Dominant Spots have all been self colors which did not involve any Agouti color combination. So far only his Black eyed Cream, and Black pups have been nicely patterned. His Red Eyed cream Dominant Spots have looked a lot like Roans with no dorsal stripe.

However his Golden,Cinnamon, and Dove pups have had the exact same pattern as him. Here's my fav pup of his and I still kick myself in the fanny for selling her I called her Koala for obvious reasons:

Here's his pups when bred to Masquerade a Red Eyed cream who was from California and was a sale pup at one of the CHA shows before moving with her owner to Ohio where I was lucky enough to buy her.

When bred to Dwiwarna a satin Black Tort here is what the Golden Dominant spots looked like at 17 days old:

Then at 36 days old:

Here are his Black Ds pups from the same litter at 17 days old(didn't take any at 36 days):

When bred to Triwarna a Black Tort and white full litter sister to Dwiwarna this was the only Dominant Spot pup in the litter. There were several Banded and Dominant Spots in the litter which looked a lot like the BEC Dominant Spots in his Masquerade litter.

The only Agouti Dominant spot at 5 weeks old:

and now the Yoniprizes seem to be following the same pattern on the few I can see a Ds pattern on. It will be interesting to see if any of them end up with a correct Pattern or if all end up like his past 3 litters and have the restricted Dominant spot pattern of their Sire. I have my ideas on why this happens but so far have had no pups which would confirm my suspicions at this time.

Well at 11 days old you now can see who got spots and who got lots of spots. There is only ONE pup who looks a proper Dominant spot in the whole litter and it is a female Cinnamon (can see nipple line) There are 3 others who have exactly the same markings and it is rather strange as there is a star on the fore head of all three that looks like it was stenciled on being the same size and location on all three. Each pup has either one,two or barely one single spots on their backs just past their shoulder, and the one with two spots has the second spot right on it's back at the hip. I was joking with SM saying they should be called reverse Nom spots since Nom Spots are all white with small dots of color on them emo-LolFlag.gif

Here they are at 11 days old One is looking like a cream roan at this point but will need to wait and see as sometimes Cream Dominant spots will have a stripe down the back and a solid white face.

Sleepy pups:

Can see the red eyed cream pretty well in this shot:

The two Dove spit spot Dominant Spot pups are in view in this shot:

Upsidedown Cinnamon Girl, the spit spot Cinnamon dominant spot pup, and the other Light color pup can be seen in this shot:

The stripe on the light color pup is very obvious in this shot. It's head is mostly Cream on the area around it's ears like a cap.

Last shot for now
